}} Karl Sutter (10 May 1914–14 September 2003) was a German track and field athlete who competed in the pole vault. Born in Basel, Switzerland, he was a member of FC Freiburg sports club and chose to compete internationally for Germany.〔Klaus Amrhein in DGLD-Bulletin Nr. 57/2010, Seite 285.〕 His first success at national level came in 1937, when he was runner-up at the German Athletics Championships to Julius Müller.
